IAA is now offering the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training and certification. The CPO is recognized worldwide as the leading training standard of the swimming pool industry. Participants are trained in the most advanced techniques of chemical treatment, filtration, and mechanical system operation and maintenance. Course content will be geared directly towards state and local codes, and will focus on the unique challenges facing aquatic facility operation at apartment communities.
Learning Objectives / Outcomes:
- Participants will learn the codes, standards, regulations and best practices for swimming pools operated in the State of Indiana.
- Participants will apply scientifically supported principles to their swimming pool operations helping them run safer and cleaner facilities.
- Operators will learn to advance their bottom line through efficient and effective techniques.
After successful completion of the written examination, operators will be receive certification and registration as a Pool / Spa Operator valid for five years.
